You can shake the hand of the Mango man, when he greets you at the border……JB
We crossed over in to Canada the other day and it was quite stressful. We walked in to the customs office and on the first wall was the Most Wanted posters. Dad and I looked at each other and turned around and walked out. Plastered all over that wall were pictures of Debbie Mitchell with “Persona Non Grata” stamped all over them. Oh, what a sad day……
Yesterday was my sweet Ashley Mathys’ birthday. Happy birthday, girl. I love you and miss you.
We have had the most wonderful experience. Canada is so pretty. Of course, I had said before that the Erie Canal was closed, so we decided to go thru Lake Champlain. The Canal was spectacular. We saw bald eagles but no alligators. The houses on the side of the Canal were so beautiful. When we went thru Lake Champlain we went thru the Richileiu River and Chambly Canal. This is what we dreamed of when we were planning this trip. It is very French. The canals are very European looking.
We stayed at a marina off the St Lawrence River last night. Tom (I grew up on boats) was getting off the boat to take Mango out and he fell in to the drink. That’s right fell right off the ladder. He did not get hurt. He was laughing the whole time. He was a good sport about it. That was our excitment for the night.
Still can’t post pics. I have a call in for Amy to help me, but she is packing out tomorrow and I know she has more on her mind than me. What!?!?!? Will try again tomorrow
Is Debbie someone you know?
